One of the most popular questions we have been getting the past week is ‘How do I return my Library books ?’ There are currently three options right now:
1. If you are on campus packing up your dorm Monday – Friday from 9 am – 2:30 pm, you can drop them off at the library, which will be staffed weekdays from 9 am – 3 pm.
2. If you are on campus packing up your dorm Saturdays and Sundays, there will be a clearly marked bin outside our loading dock doors (facing the AIC building) which you can deposit all your borrowed books (no tech items, please!) .
3. If you can’t take advantage of the first two options, you can leave your borrowed books and tech items in your dorm, and Res Life said they will be collecting the items and returning them to the Library.
Under NO circumstances can you return your Bookstore ‘rentals’ to the Library – you must return them yourself to the Bookstore. We are not responsible for returning your loans to the bookstore. No exceptions!!
If you have any questions, please feel free to call the Library at 401-232-6125 (Monday – Friday, 9 am – 3 pm) or chat with a librarian in the chat box on our homepage.
Starting the week of May 13, and continuing on through the end of August, you will notice our library hours have changed to accommodate the Summer Session here at Bryant. The link to our hours can be found below, so please check it out on a regular basis for seasonal adjustments throughout the Spring and Summer!
There’s just a few weeks left before finals start…if you’re a student or a professor, and you anticipate needing books from other libraries before finals, please order your books without delay! Requests can take up to two weeks for processing and delivery – so the sooner you order, the better chance you will have of getting your books promptly. Remember – always order a hard-copy, since E-Books can’t be borrowed from other libraries.
The sun is shining, the grass is turning green, the tulips are in bloom! What better way to SPRING into the new season than with a good book to read? We have some great new titles to enjoy: “Tony’s Wife”, “The Woman In The Window”, “The Maids”, “The Wife Between Us”, “The Only Woman In The Room”, “Girl, Stop Apologizing” – just to name a few! Stop by the Library today, and find a good book to enjoy this Spring season…
Did you know that any overdue items on your account or any outstanding fines can prevent you from accessing your final grades this semester? Before you leave for winter vacation, take a moment and check your account. Return any items which are over-due (or will be due) while you’re away – including Athletics Collection books – and settle any fines on your account. This way, you will have no trouble getting your final grades.
